171.4 – still having issues but need to be up and going for my mom –
Just realized I messed up the Post number for yesterday it should have read 190 and not 109 – my dyslexia showing through. Today was a very long day; my meals were small and quick as well. Lunch was about 2 oz of chicken, dinner was the same and I had my drink, but could not keep up with my water all day.
I know that change is hard, but we need to embrace it and actively seeking out this program is your first step. Don’t let your weight dictate who you are, don’t let you weight dictate what you can do. This program, HCG SlimXpress, was my choice to begin the changes I knew I needed to make, to help me regain my self confidence which my weight had dictated I had no right to. I cannot tell you how often I looked at the images in the magazines and felt so inadequate. I cannot tell you how often I would go to a school function for my kids and feel embarrassed because I wasn’t as awesome looking as the other moms.
To top off the day I find myself even more in awe, no in complete amazement for the strength of my mother – you need to stand up to the bullies – don’t let people bully you in any way – take a stand and hold fast – that goes for weight loss too. My mother who has Cerebral Palsy, who moved to Oregon in the 50’s on her own after completing her masters in early education from an extremely prestigious university, found a job working for a day care group, worked in the field of early childhood development for over 30 years, stood by my father and took care of him through the good and the bad, in sickness and in health, and she continues to stand up for herself. She is amazing, she is the woman we should all aspire to be, strong confident, self reliant and amazing.
We can do this, we can do it together, and you are helping me every step of the way.
Take care, Jenny
